General Hospital ended August at a fevered pitch with many poignant scenes in the hospital as friends, lovers and family touched the seriously ill Emily as she touched us. Sonny and Carly dealt with the likes of Ric and Alzacar, as Courtney and Jason struggled with their feelings over her lost pregnancy.
