Ryan nearly witnesses an intimate moment between Leo and Greenlee. Then, Adam returns to the mansion after being declared sane at his hearing and tells Liza he no longer cares about his money or his business. On the other side of the Valley, Esther and Stuart wind up at a roadside diner after their car breaks down. Judd, the kind owner of the diner and his daughter, Marilyn, take Esther and Stuart in.

Meanwhile, Arlene comes across a despondent Adam and decides to take advantage of the situation. Later, Tina helps out a visiting singer named Chris, who is in Pine Valley to fulfill the first "Dream Come True" for Ryan's website.
