David Canary (Adam/Stuart, All My Children)Fan favorites David Canary (Adam Chandler), Julia Barr (Brooke English), Ray MacDonnell (Dr. Joe Martin) and Lee Meriwether (Ruth Martin) will reprise their roles on ABC’s daytime drama All My Children this September it was announced today by ABC Daytime.

Canary debuted on All My Children in 1983 as Adam Chandler, one of the most devious and wealthy characters in Pine Valley. Soon after, he took on a dual role as Adam’s twin brother, Stuart, the sweeter, kinder, more

artistic Chandler. Of note among his major AMC exploits is marrying Erica Kane (played by Susan Lucci) not once but twice.

Julia Barr (Brooke, All My Children)Barr’s character, Brooke English, arrived in Pine Valley in 1976 as the rich, spoiled niece of Phoebe Tyler, played by Ruth Warrick. She quickly made enemies with Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) as the two women often shared love interests. Adam Chandler and Brooke English left Pine Valley for Paris in 2010, but promised to return one day.

Ray MacDonnell (Joe, All My Children)MacDonnell has played Dr. Joe Martin since the debut of All My Children in 1970, but left the show when it relocated to Los Angeles, much to fans dismay.  His character was known as the patriarch of Pine Valley. Beginning in 1996, former Miss America, Meriwether, stepped into the matriarchal role as his wife, Ruth Martin. They were last seen attending Tad and Cara’s wedding earlier this year.

Canary, Barr, MacDonnell and Meriwether join the likes of Eva LaRue (Maria Santos), Josh Duhamel (Leo DuPres) and Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater) who are also on their way back to Pine Valley to send All MY Children off in style.

Stay tuned.

Wonderful to see soap stars branching out and doing musicals and appearing on stage. For Bobby Steggert, (Ex-Sam Grey of All My Children), he is not only brilliantly dazzling, but totally lights up the stage starring as Will in "Big Fish" the musical in Chicago thru May 5th.

The show is not only rich in story, but the sets, music, lighting, and the cast just illuminates. Tony Award winner, Norbert Leo Buts stars as Edward Bloom, Tony nominee Kate Baldwin, as Sandra Bloom, and Tony nominee, Bobby Steggert as son, Will.
