Jill Larson as Opal, All My ChildrenThis is exciting casting news from The Bay the Series for fans missing their All My Children.

Hot off the release of the Season 2 premiere of The Bay The Series, LANYfilms announces big casting news that should have soap fans talking!

After gracing our television screens for over two decades as Opal Cortlandt, the spunky best friend of Erica Kane on the hit ABC daytime drama All My Children, two-time Emmy nominated Jill Larson will guest star in Season 2 of The Bay as Helen Kruegar, a feisty defense attorney who’s brought in during a murder mystery.

“We are ecstatic to have the talented Jill Larson join us in Season 2! This is my second time working with her. She is a powerhouse and I can’t think of a better actress to play this part,” enthuses director/creator Gregori J. Martin.

ALong with her famous role as Opal Cortlandt on All My Children, Larson played the evil Ursula Blackwell on ABC’s One Life to Live and appeared in the Martin Scorsese film SHutter Island as well as a slew of other roles. Larson shoots her first scenes today, Oct. 28th, and will first appear on THE BAY in early

Do you want to star in TV commercials?

Do you ever sit and watch those TV commercials and say to yourself 'I can do that, or I can sell that'? Well, the answer is you probably can, but how and where do you begin?

Television commercials are big business. You have celebrity endorsements, and then you have the regular person. Remember...Tom Cruise can not sell everything! And many sponsors look for the so-called "Average Joe" to make their product believable to the public.

"It could be you. You can be the next star of TV commercial," according to Don Underwood, talent agent in Hinsdale, Il., a suburb of Chicago. Don is the proprietor along with his wife, Joanna, of Babes'n Beaus, a full-line talent agency. His days are long and are spent trying to find the right face and talent that a client is looking for to sell or advertise their product.
