Susan Lucci (Erica, All My Children)Now we know for sure.  ABC Daytime today announced the date of the final airing of All My Children.  The show will broadcast its final episode on Friday, September 23. The iconic series will end in a manner that respects the show’s legacy and honors its history. We understand that it will be a two-hour series finale.

According to our sources at ABC Daytime, and as we have previously reported here at Soapdom.com, All My Children is bringing back a

number of fan favorite characters to help round out the last weeks of the soap.

"Out of love and respect for the show, many beloved actors will be returning to Pine Valley, including Josh Duhamel (Leo Du Pres), Eva La Rue (Maria Santos), Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater), Carol Burnett (Verla Grubbs), Kate Collins (Janet Green), Jennifer Bassey (Marion Chandler), Melissa Claire Egan (Annie Chandler) and Leven Rambin (Lily Montgomery), among others yet to be announced," ABC Daytime declared in a statement.

Soapdom has learned that Thorsten Kaye (Zach) is aready back on set taping scenes with Alicia Minshew (Kendall).

"Final episodes will celebrate the stories of the families that fans have grown to know and love over the years."

Meanwhile, AMC's star diva, Susan Lucci (Erica) is wasting no time in getting back on the wagan. Along with her skin care line and a myriad of other products, she has now added a pilates chair machine to her list ofendorsements. We caught her on an infomercial last night hawking the virtues of the Malibu Pilates Chair.

Past Blast

Days of our Lives' Jen Lilley likes to play mean

Playing Salem's newest 'bad girl' is just fine with Jen Lilley. Lilley is having the time of her life playing Theresa Donovan, Kim and Shane's daughter (Patsy Peace and Charles Shaughnessy), a sassy, brassy, but yet oh so classy lady.

Her first episode spoke volumes that Theresa is not to be trusted, she is a person with antics and schemes up her sleeve. But she has a unique way of covering them up and is full of mystery and mystic. And keep in mind that when she was born her birth name was Jeannie, and now she prefers Theresa. Wonder why? Interesting!
